Getting Started


  • 1

    Start in lower deadlift position, grasp the bar with hands facing inwards shoulder width apart.

    Push your hips back, and straighten your body, raising the barbell off the ground.

  • 3

    Bring bar towards your thighs, and while keeping knees slightly bent, push the bar straight and upwards with your thighs, until bar is in line with hips and ankles.

  • 4

    Slowly lower your body towards the ground by bending your knees.

  • 5

    Keep going down until your thighs are parallel to the ground while keeping the bar above head and slowly return to the standing position.
