Getting Started

    Get a grasp on the barbell with a strong overhand grip a little beyond shoulder width.

    Bend your body at the knees and hips until the bar is sitting just below the knees with your arms hanging down.

    Keep your chest pushed outward.

  • 4

    At the same time, throw your hips forward and doing a barbell shrug with your shoulders while jumping upward.

  • 5

    Land as soft as possible on the ground to avoid injury.
