Get Started With Dumbbell Snatch

    Start in lower deadlift position, grasp the dumbbell with one arms, hand facing inwards.

    Push your hips back, and straighten your body, raising the dumbbell off the ground.

  • 3

    Bring dumbbell to your thighs, and while keeping knees slightly bent, push the dumbbell straight and upwards with your thighs, until dumbbell is in line with hips and ankles.

  • 4

    Slowly lower your body towards the ground by bending your knees.

  • 5

    Keep going down until your thighs are parallel to the ground while keeping the dumbbell above head and slowly return to the standing position.
