Gold's Gym Laredo: The Newest Health Club in the Area Offers More Than Your Average Fitness Solutions. Owned and operated since July 2014 by the Garcia family, the newest Laredo gym features an abundance of high-end amenities combined with a convenient location and award-winning services. Located directly adjacent to North Central Park, members have direct access to the park's beautiful running trail and is able to host Triathlons and 5K races to encourage engagement and physical activity within the Laredo community. Being the 700th Gold's Gym club to open world wide, Gold's Gym Laredo North Central strives to uphold the high brand standards in fitness and customer service on a daily basis. In 2014 Mike Epstein, President of the Gold's Gym Franchise Association, praised the Garcia family for “Bringing a passion and family atmosphere to everything they do that represents the Gold's Gym family and their fellow franchisees at the highest level.” It is this sense of family that our gym in Laredo prides itself most on. Besides offering a range of group exercise classes, like Kickboxing, Boot Camp, and Zumba, Gold's Gym Laredo also offers a separate Mind & Body Studio dedicated to Yoga and Pilates. We also offer a 5,000 square foot Gold'sFit group training studio encouraging competitions and out of the box functional training programs such as P90X and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). This area features rigs, rowing machines, astro turf and a 40 yard dash for functional and sport enhancement training. The staff is committed to turning towards the community and helping where possible, with events like Barbells for Boobs and Stronger Than Cancer, benefiting local breast cancer awareness organizations. In December, Gold's Gym Laredo teams up with the Sacred Heart Children's Home and encourages members of the community to sponsor a child at the local orphanage.
