Get Started With Squat (Machine)

Start by adjusting the machine to your desired weight, if you are unsure of which weight to choose, start with a lower weight to practice your form.

Place your feet on the footplate of the machine, about shoulder-width apart.

Sit back into the machine, keeping your back straight and your chest up.

Push your feet into the footplate and use your legs to stand up straight.

Slowly lower your body by bending your knees and hips, while keeping your back straight.

Stop when your thighs are parallel to the floor, then push your feet into the footplate and use your legs to stand up straight.

Repeat this motion for the desired number of repetitions.
