Getting Started

  • 1

Find a quiet and comfortable space to practice yoga.

  • 2

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

  • 3

Start with a few minutes of deep breathing exercises to calm the mind and prepare the body.

  • 4

Begin with basic yoga poses, such as mountain pose, tree pose, and warrior pose.

  • 5

As you become more comfortable with the basic poses, move on to more advanced poses, such as headstands, backbends, and inversions.

  • 6

Remember to breathe deeply and steadily throughout each pose.

  • 7

Gradually increase the duration and difficulty of your practice over time.

  • 8

Finish your practice with a few minutes of relaxation or meditation to allow your body and mind to fully relax and rejuvenate.

  • 9

Practice regularly, ideally every day, and listen to your body, if you feel any pain or discomfort, stop and rest.
