Get Started With Lateral Band Walks

Loop a resistance band around your ankles and stand with your feet hip-width apart.

Keep your feet parallel and step out to your right, leading with your right foot.

Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, keeping tension on the band.

Take another step out to the right with your right foot, and then bring our left foot to meet it.

Continue stepping out to the right for the desired number of reps.

To change direction, simply step out to the left with your left foot, and then bring your right foot to meet it.

Remember to keep your core engaged and your back straight throughout the exercise.

Keep your feet parallel, and avoid letting your knees to collapse inward

Take small steps to keep tension on the band, breathe in and out as you walk.
