Get Started With Lateral Band Walks
- 1Loop a resistance band around your ankles and stand with your feet hip-width apart. 
- 2Keep your feet parallel and step out to your right, leading with your right foot. 
- 3Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, keeping tension on the band. 
- 4Take another step out to the right with your right foot, and then bring our left foot to meet it. 
- 5Continue stepping out to the right for the desired number of reps. 
- 6To change direction, simply step out to the left with your left foot, and then bring your right foot to meet it. 
- 7Remember to keep your core engaged and your back straight throughout the exercise. 
- 8Keep your feet parallel, and avoid letting your knees to collapse inward 
- 9Take small steps to keep tension on the band, breathe in and out as you walk.
