Getting Started

    Start by sitting on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder level, palms facing each other.

    Hold the dumbbells together in the center with a strong grip.

    With your elbows tucked in, press the dumbbells up over your head.

    Pause for a moment when your dumbbells are at the top position, then lower them back to the starting position.

    Repeat for the desired number of reps.

    Remember to keep your core engaged and your shoulders down and back throughout the exercise.

    Make sure to keep the dumbbells close to each other and to use your chest muscles to press the dumbbells up, not your triceps.

    Breathe in as you press the dumbbells up and out as you lower them.
